From start to finish, With Terra, Laura and of course Dr. Mary, I felt seen, heard and cared for!!!! Dr Mary is AMAZING! Her mobile clinic is so welcoming and her staff is amazing. It was so nice to feel like there wasn’t a 20 minute time limit on your appointment to get to the next patient down the hall. Love being able to call and talk to someone that is in direct contact with her immediately, rather than sending messages and leaving voicemails that don’t get returned. My experience with Dr. Mary and her team was exceptional. As a Healthcare provider myself I often hear how "doctors don't listen," that couldn't be further from the truth at Fem Forward. I was given ample time to tell my story during my appointment, and was met with compassion and understanding from the whole team. Dr. Mary and the team are amazing. The atmosphere they've created is so welcoming! As someone who struggles with chronic pain - going to the doctor is rarely a positive experience. I went for what most people consider to be a rough appointment and it turned out to be the absolute best experience Ive ever had. This place is what amazing patient care looks like! I was first greeted with Laura, the MA, with nothing but kindness and smiles. Then I met Dr. Mary right then and there! There was no wait. Dr. Mary and her team are exceptional. They treat you like a real person! I felt confident, informed, and listened to. That’s right, a doctor that hears you. And she spent TIME with me! Not some 10min appt where most doctors are rushing to get out of the room. The facility is a converted RV and let me tell you it is cute, comfortable, and classy. They got all the equipment and even a bedside ultrasound! I’m so impressed!

Dr. Mary’s practice was much more accessible to me than Kaiser, which is where my healthcare usually happens. She was able to make an appointment for me within a week, she and her staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming. I was able to be brutally honest with her about my sexual health, which is a really difficult thing for me to do. She helped me with an issue that I had no hope anyone would be able to help me with. Dr. Mary is kind and actually listens when I describe my symptoms. I’ve been told in the past it’s all in my head, some women have a harder time with pain and that it’s perfectly normal to pass out, feel nauseous dizzy and extremely tired when golf ball sized clots come out of me. It’s not normal and it’s not in my head. Ever since switching to Dr. Mary I feel like there is hope for me to live a life not in agony for 10 days out of every month. I got an IUD yesterday and immediately cried when she finished because of past trauma. She was so kind and supportive while she listened to my experience and let me cry. For 27 years I have been dealing with this and finally have hope of finding relief.

Best healthcare experience ever probably? I love the concept of the mobile clinic and what Dr. Mary is trying to do to make quality healthcare more accessible.
